samples. Results will be provided to the genus level along with speciation of Penicillium, Aspergillus, Cladosporium, and
Stachybotrys. The samples need to be plated out; therefore the standard turnaround time is 7 days.
Direct Examination (Tape Lift, Bio-Tape, Bulk, or Swab)
Our associate mold laboratory offers the identification and semi-quantitative analysis of fungal spores on tape lifts,
Bio-tape, bulk materials, or swab samples. We include information on the presence of hyphae and fruiting structures to
aid you in interpretating the degree of contamination. Results will be provided to the genus level. Standard turnaround
time is 48 Hrs.
Spore Traps (Total Fungal Spore Count, Pollen, Skin, Insect Fragments and Background Density)
Our associate mold laboratory has the capability of analyzing any spore trap on the market including, Air-O-Cell,
Micro-5, Burkard, Allergenco, Cyclex, Cyclex-D, and Laro-100. Our reports not only include the identification and
enumeration of the fungal spores trapped on the sample but other important IAQ debris (pollen, insect fragments,
fibrous particulate matter, skin and overall background density). This gives you more information in helping you
determine the quality of indoor air. Results will be provided to the genus level. Standard turnaround time is 48 Hrs.
